Everyday is the Day of Gratitude. Let us remember this as often as possible and then bow our heads in quiet reflection and appreciation.

Gratitude is:

* the joy of arising in the newly born day.

* the inflow and outgoing breath that sustains us.

* the inner and outer bread and wine that nourishes us.

* the embodiment of our innate strength, confidence, and joy.

* seeing the goodness beyond all appearances.

* looking at the seen and unseen components of every circumstance
     to discover the rainbow lining.

* experiencing the bounty of life as full and constantly overflowing—
    and then sharing that generously.

* a meditative hymn for the ever-present abundance of blessings.

* the family and friends whose presence is unconditionally accepting
     and compassionate.

* the animals and Nature who are an inextricably rich part of the
fellowship of life shared on Mother Earth.

* doing the work and service that is an affinity with our true nature.

* the awareness of the present moment as the shimmering jewel in
     the ever-moving cycle of time.

* the Light that illumines each blissful step on our self-chosen Path.

* the heartbeat within ALL that is.

* the harmony and profound peace that underlies all Creation.

* the Eternal stillness.

Celebrate and praise Spirit as though heavenly attunement is right here and now, for gratitude is the direct experience of God.

How can we bring awareness and then respond with anything other than delight and a rejoicing heart for the many gifts that make daily life so fulfilling and complete?

In the calm, carefree reaches within, the soft sounding of the Gratitude Mantra can be heard as it emanates from the tranquil center of our being: thank you … thank you … thank you … thank you … thank you … thank you …

What would your List of Thankfulness include?

Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good
thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously.
And because all things have contributed to your advancement,
you should include all things in your gratitude.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

For me, every hour is grace. And I feel gratitude in
my heart every time I can meet someone
and look at his or her smile.
Elie Wiesel

Appreciation and self-love are the most important aspects
you could ever nurture. Appreciation of others and the
appreciation of yourself are the closest vibrational matches
to Source Energy of anything we have ever
witnessed anywhere in this Universe.
