This cycle complete.
Gently falling maple leaves
relinquish their hold.

Some leaves struggle, strain.
Strong winds hit them hard, tear flesh.
Cast off forcefully.

Give darkening days
their due decline, decay, death.
Inside Light steadfast.

Resistance prolongs
natural comings, goings.
Fierce “no” cries stuck fear.

Surrender releases
natural evolution.
Soft “yes” claims “I trust.”

Rest in Larger Plan.
Faithful rhythm of God-ness.
Choices create our life.

Do not fear the future. Do not fear the unknown,
not even death itself. Even if you lose your present body,
this only enables you to step forward into a world of light.
Here on your earth, by your thoughts, aspirations, and
actions, you are preparing yourself to awaken in a new world.
