Acts of great kindness,
she walks streets early to feed.
So many mouths wait.

Stroking of the heads,
the cats respond with such trust.
Furred-coat angels smile.

Cat-with-human bonds.
Saint Felis is who we are.
Relaxed, blissful purrs.

Godly saint and cat.
Day’s offerings licked from paws.
Sunning, peaceful rest.

I believe cats to be spirits come to earth.
A cat, I am sure, could walk on
a cloud without coming through.

  1. This is wonderful! Thanks for remembering our furry friends. They bring so much delight and love into our lives! Just like you!

    • You’re welcome, Linda. A thought of our furry loves is a thought of the Divine, isn’t it? And a thought of dear friends is also a thought of the Divine! Love you,
