What does “BP” mean?
A British Petroleum?
A baked potato?

“BP” for most means
a measure of blood pressure
of health or dis-ease.

Discerned by spirit,
“BP” is this ongoing,
ever present-ness.

Remove all the clocks.
Where is the past or future?
Now, this instant reigns.

Sow your bag of seeds
in the soil of aliveness.
“BP”—Be Present!

There is a simple practice by which a considerable
measure of peace—a quiet poise and an unruffled calm—
can be achieved, if persisted in day in and day out.
It is by developing a consciousness of nowness,
a state of todayness. This state of nowness is
achieved by consciously training ourselves to
live only in this minute. …Our responsibility is
only for this day and for this moment. Whatever
demand is made upon us, let us fulfill it this moment.
Joel S. Goldsmith, Practicing the Presence

That which a person continuously dwells upon,
that which he embraces in his consciousness,
is that with which he ultimately becomes one.
Joel S. Goldsmith, Practicing the Presence
