YOU CAN’T GO FIND WHAT YOU ALREADY ARE

What if a butterfly went searching for its butterfly-ness? Would it find it? Or would it already be in its full complete-ness? Already in the perfection of whole-ness? How can Life quest after its own butterfly-ness when the beauty-ness is internal, always in readi-ness for the light? The same is true for you and me. The intact-ness of your and my spiritual identity is already the divine-ness within us, which always has been and always will be. So, absorb restful-ness. Be quiet-ness. Be still-ness. Let all thoughts and words gently fade away into wordless-ness. And realize that in this empti-ness is space for the real you.   Eternally, the divine Presence fills all space. So, there is ever only Presence encountering Presence.   A blade of grass never becomes a rose, a cat, or a star. Always, throughout eternity each is maintained in its own individuality.
